It's made in the USA by Friendly Loom, part of Harrisville Designs, for children ages 6 and up.

Weaving starts by stretching loops across the loom from peg to peg in one direction. The weaving hook then carries a second set of loops over and under the first, row by row, until the square fills with color. The 19 curved pegs on each side help hold the loops in place while you work. To finish, the crochet hook binds off the edges loop by loop, and the potholder lifts free in one piece. Finished potholders are ready for the kitchen or for giving as gifts.

When the included loops run out, the Potholder Loop Mini Pack in the traditional size refills this loom.
